Bio:

Valentine was one of many kids on the street in Highwater that ended up in the protection of the Thieve’s Guild, who took in children that showed some talents. For Valentine, these talents included his remarkable (for an orphan on the streets) ability to disappear and his desire to tinker with any device, such and locks and traps. To practice their agility, the orphans would run across rooftops, jumping between buildings, running across planks, ducking under overhangs, climbing to a higher story, and the like; his many missed jumps and unlucky tinkering has left his arms scarred in places where a trap may have gone off or tumbling landed in some glass. Since he was always in the care of the Guild, Valentine has felt no need to search for his parents or family, but would rather just stay with the family he had made already. After all, his parents must have had a good reason to leave him, like being put into jail, banishment for offending some nobles, execution for high crimes, or even something as fantastic as spawning a cross-breed, which was one of Valentine’s common thoughts as he lay in the dark in a safe house, after a good day of work or a close fall off of a 3 story building.
